Each year Council is required to present an Annual Report. This document includes the audited Annual Financial Statements, and reports by Council Offices relating to their particular areas of activity. The Annual Report also provides information on various Council functions, staffing, and policies.

Council along with Succession Ecology have developed a draft Burra Creek Management Plan for the management of maintenance activities associated with the Burra Creek regarding the management of reed clearances from the water course.

The Community Emergency Management Plan is an implementation document that exists to translate Council's Emergency Management Policy into emergency management priorities and clearly defined actions with responsibility and resources allocated to disaster risk reduction, incudent operations
and recovery.
At the 21 July 2020 ordinary Council meeting the Community Land Management Plan and Register were adopted by Council.
The Australian Federal Government endorsed the Conservation Management Plan and Council adopted the Final Version at the 18 May 2021 Ordinary Council Meeting.

The Burra Charter sets out the best practice principles of conservation subscribed to by the South Australian Department for Environment and Water.
Conservation management plans provide further information about heritage places and give essential guidelines for future use and development. Many of these plans are commissioned by property owners, while others are initiated by state or local government agencies.

The Essential Services Commission, South Australia’s independent economic regulator and advisory body, has been given a role by the State Government to provide advice on material changes proposed by local councils in relation to elements of their strategic management plans and on the proposed revenue sources, including rates which underpin those plans.

Council engaged Australian Water Environments (AWE) to develop an Integrated Water Management Plan (IWMP) for Burra and Eudunda
The Regional Council of Goyder Natural Disaster Mitigation Study Plan is designed to identify, analyse and evaluate risk occurring from Natural Disasters in the Goyder Region. This Study Plan was partly funded by the Department of Transport and Regional Services.
The South Australian Public Health Act 2011 (the Act) aims to provide a modernised, flexible legislative framework, to ensure South Australia better responds to new public health challenges as well as traditional hazards. Under Section 51 of the Act Council is required to develop a Public Health
Plan to protect, improve and promote community health and wellbeing.
The Draft Plan was released for Community Consultation on 12 May 2021 and closed on 2 June 2021
At the 20 April 2021 ordinary Council meeting the following motions were passed;
- That Council having considered the information received from the Electoral Commission pertaining to the required tolerance between Hallett & Burra and the proposed boundary realignment in accordance with Section 12 8(a) of the Local Government Act 1999, make this information available for public consultation from 28 April 2021 - 26 May 2021; and
- That in accordance with Section 12(10) of the Local Government Act 1999, Council give any person who makes a written submission in response to an invitation under subsection (9) an opportunity to appear personally or by a representative before the Council of a Council committee and to be heard on those submissions.
FINAL Elector Representation Review November 2021
This roadside vegetation survey was commissioned and funded by the Regional Council of Goyder, the Native Vegetation Council, the Department of Water, Land and Biodiversity Conservation and the SA Murray-Darling Basin Natural Resources Management Board. This survey was conducted in April-May
2008. This report aims to give the Regional Council of Goyder and other users information on the conservation value of roadside vegetation and the location of roadside segments that are of particularly high importance.
