The Burra Men's Shed has been operating now since 2008 and membership has increased greatly over this time. The main objective of the Burra Men's Shed is "keeping men active" whether they are retired, out of work or suffer from a disability. The Burra Men's Shed also works in partnership with the Burra Community School with various instructions. It has been involved more recently with local residents requesting small jobs to be done. There are a number of our members who have been involved in "Men's Watch" a programme looking into helping men who may be alone and suffering depression. For further information please don't hesitate to contact the Coordinator Darryl Venning on (08) 8892 2130.
Open every Wednesday from 9am to 1pm.
Free BBQ every 3rd Wednesday of the month.
