Telstra will be upgrading its mobile network in Burra 

The works will require a series of temporary outages or reduction in mobile coverage in Burra.

These improvements will temporarily impact Telstra mobile coverage.

There will be intermittent Telstra mobile network coverage from these sites from Monday, 18 March 2024 to Wednesday, 27 March 2024.

Telstra mobile customers will receive text messages advising of the upcoming work.

Landline services, NBN internet services and mobile coverage from other providers will not be impacted.

Any calls to Triple Zero from a Telstra mobile when the site is off air will automatically be diverted to any working mobile network for connection to emergency services.

If all goes according to plan and weather permitting the mobile upgrade will be completed on Wednesday, 27 March 2024.

If you are having trouble with EFTPOS, we recommend you contact your bank for assistance. Most modern EFTPOS terminals can use Wi-Fi linking into fixed network services and/or mobile service to operate effectively.
