CFS Danger Season Update for Goyder Residents
Published 30th April 2026
Fire Danger Season will officially end at 12.01am on Friday, 1 May 2026 in the following Fire Ban Districts:
- Eastern Eyre Peninsula
- Lower Eyre Peninsula
- North East Pastoral
- North West Pastoral
- West Coast
- Flinders
While this is a positive step, we encourage everyone across the Regional Council of Goyder to continue using fire responsibly. Cooler days can make conditions feel safer than they actually are, but risks can still remain.
