Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme 2026-2030

Published 4th March 2025

The Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme (REPS) is a South Australian government initiative aimed at improving energy productivity for households, businesses and the broader energy system, with a focus on low-income households.

The current REPS obligation thresholds and targets apply from 2021 to 2025. New thresholds and targets must be determined for the second five-year period (REPS2), which begins on 1 January 2026 and will be in place until 31 December 2030.

Your feedback will inform the Minister's determination of thresholds, targets and other matters for REPS2.

This consultation is now open from Monday, 24 February 2025 and closes on Monday, 31 March 2025.
