Disability Access and Inclusion
This is the Council's first Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP).
The Disability Inclusion Act 2018 makes it mandatory for Councils to develop a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan that has to be reviewed every four years and reported on annually.
This Plan aims to ensure the region becomes more accessible and inclusive for all people living with a disability.
It will help people within the community who are living with a disability to contribute and feel welcome, have access to services, and to participate in everyday activities.
The Goyder DAIP is available to read in hard copy to read at the Burra and Eudunda Council offices, as well as local town agencies in Terowie, Booborowie and Robertstown.
