ENTRY FORM & TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Council is inviting Goyder residents to share the local treasures of their town by submitting photos that they have taken that reflect creating opportunity and celebrating community of where they live.
Photographs could include a significant natural feature that promotes the Goyder council area, the great clubs and local people, the wide-open spaces, historic buildings, wild life, natural or man-made works of art – the options are endless! Thirteen photographs will be selected for use in the 2024/25 Community Calendar.
Your special shot may win you a place in our 2024 Calendar and a $50 gift voucher to spend in any Goyder business. If your shot is chosen for the special front cover you will win a $100 voucher!
To be eligible to enter the competition you MUST be a resident of the Regional Council of Goyder.
Entries Open 18th April 2024 and Close 31 May 2024 at 5pm
Terms and Conditions
All entries must meet the Photograph Specifications outlined on the entry form.
You may enter up to two photos in this competition.
A completed entry form must be received with each entry.
The competition is open to residents in the following categories
1. Children under 12 years of age
2. Young people 12-25 years of age
3. Residents 25 years and over
Regional Council of Goyder's elected members and their immediate family are not eligible to enter the competition. Regional Council of Goyder's staff members and their immediate family are not eligible to enter the competition.
All photographs must be taken in the Regional Council of Goyder Council region.
Entry in the competition is free.
The photograph must have a title and the area it is taken within identified.
An entry form and parental consent (if required) must be completed and submitted
along with the photograph.
Entry to the competition opens 18th April 2024 and Close 31 May 2024 at 5pm 2024. Winners will be notified by email or phone.
Details of the entrant’s name and age will be used in the calendar.
The Regional Council of Goyder reserves the right to enlarge, reduce, crop or adapt the finalist’s photographs to fit media formats including but not limited to advertisements, print media, website and for exhibition purposes.
By submitting the photograph in the competition the entrant acknowledges that:
The photograph is original and created by the entrant.
The entrant must identify their age, town of residence and the
location of where the photo was taken for eligibility.
The photograph has been taken within the boundaries of the Regional Council of Goyder
The entrant has obtained from anyone appearing in the photograph, whose image is
readily identifiable, their consent to the use of the photograph in the competition and
by the Regional Council of Goyder in promotional material.
The entrant owns the copyright for the photograph and grants the Regional Council of Goyder a non-exclusive licence to use the photograph in the competition and for promotional purposes at the Regional Council of Goyder’s discretion. Copyright protection is free, without the need for registration, and applies when original materials such as a photo is created.
The selection of finalists and prize winners will be at the discretion of the judging panel determined by the Regional Council of Goyder.
Personal details collected on the entry form may only be used by the Regional Council of Goyder for the purposes of administering this competition.
The Regional Council of Goyder advises that it may take photographs of finalists and winners at the Awards Presentation and use these images for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, advertisements, print media and websites.
