Notice is hereby given that the Regional Council of Goyder made the following order at its December 14th 2021 meeting:
That Council exercises the power pursuant to Section 33 of the Road Traffic Act 1961 and Clause F of the Instrument of General Approval of the Minister dated 12 March 2001:
1.1 That pursuant to Section 33(1) of the Road Traffic Act, declare that the event described below ('the Event') that is to take place on the road described below ('the road') is an event to which Section 33 of the Road Traffic Act 1961 applies and;
1.2 Pursuant to Section 3(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Act 1961, make an order directing that the Road on which the Event is to be held and any adjacent or adjoining roads specified below, be closed to traffic.
Road: Paxton Terrace (from Bridge Street to Smelts Road)
Event: Copper & Stone Music Fest
Timing: 3.00pm Friday 4th February 2022 to 9.00am Sunday 6th February 2022
Pursuant to Section 33(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Act 1961 make an order directing that persons taking part in the Event be exempted in relation to the Road, from the duty to observe the Australian Road Rules relating to pedestrian behaviour, wearing of seatbelts and carriage of persons on vehicles or trailers between the times stated above.
