The Candidate Information Session will provide you with an overview of the characteristics of council members, information about local government and how the Council works to support its community as well as information on the upcoming elections and how to campaign.

So you want to be on Council?

This is your chance to shape the future of Goyder, so if you are interested in becoming a Member of Council, please join us Thursday 11 August at 5pm in the Burra Council Chambers for a Candidate Information Session hosted by Chief Executive Officer David J. Stevenson.

The Candidate Information Session will provide you with an overview of the characteristics of council members, information about local government and how the Council works to support its community as well as information on the upcoming elections and how to campaign.

Elections open from 23 August - 6 September.
