Industry Update - QR Code Tracking

26th November 2020
Today Premier Steven Marshall has confirmed that QR code tracing will commence from Tuesday, 1 December 2020. The COVID-Safe Check-in will be accessible through the free mySA GOV app.

The data will only be available by SA Health for official contact tracing purposes and will be accessible for 28 days.

A paper recording log will be available to businesses as a back-up if you don't have a mobile phone.

Businesses with a COVID-Safe Plan will receive a new COVID-Safe Plan via email that includes a QR code to print off and display in your business.

QR codes will be mandatory for businesses that come in close contact with people, including restaurants and pubs, however, more specific details will be released soon.
