Goyder Regional Council

Roads and road segments highlighted in Orange on the two maps attached to this email are to be removed from B-Double Commodity Networks

Following engineer assessment of published commodity routes across the Regional Council of Goyder, routes highlighted in the attached PDF maps will be removed from all B-Double commodity networks.

The segments being removed are often barely suited to any vehicle access; many are narrow, overgrown and / or washed-out, and include tracks leading to former farmhouses. They are being removed to ensure they are not taken in error as being suited to B-double use

Where access is specifically required and conditions at the time allow for it, access may be provided through by a permit issued by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) in cooperation with the Regional Council of Goyder.

The Goyder Council Commodity Map details the precise roads for removal from the network.
