Calendar Photo Competition

30th March 2020

"Capturing Goyder through a Local's Lens"

The 2020/21 Calendar Photography Competition is now open Have you taken photos that capture the essence of living in the Goyder region? Now is the time to go through your photos and enter them in the 2020 competition. Your photo could be in the 2020/21 Community Calendar!

Council is inviting residents to share the local treasures of their town by submitting photos that they have taken that reflect creating opportunity and celebrating community of where they live. Photographs could include a significant natural feature that promotes our council area, the great clubs and local people, the wide-open spaces, historic buildings, wild life, natural or man-made works of art – the options are endless! Thirteen photographs will be selected for use in the 2019/20 Community Calendar.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year we want entrants to stay home and go through photos that you already have on your camera roll. It is a great opportunity to find some stand out gems within your albums.

Your special shot may win you a place in our 2020 Calendar and a $50 gift voucher to spend in any Goyder business. If your shot is chosen for the special front cover you will win a $100 voucher!

You may enter up to two photos in this competition. Please remember that all photos must be taken within the Goyder region.

Competition opens Monday 23 March 2020 and closes 5pm Monday 4 May 2020. Winners will be announced in June 2020, prior to publication of the 2020/21 Calendar.
