Natural Resources Management Levy
The NRM Levy was introduced in 2006/07 to recover the cost of the contributions that Council will need to make to the SA Murray Darling Basin and Northern and Yorke Natural Resource Management Boards. This levy was introduced under the Natural Resources Management Act 2004. The accounts for payment of Council will be posted at least 30 days prior to the due date for payment each quarter
Due dates for quarterly payment in 2016/17 are:
- 9th September 2016
- 9th December 2016
- 10th March 2017
- 9th June 2017
Payment of Rates Online
Council is no longer able to accept payments through the online bizgate service.
Alternative payment methods are listed below.
Mail or B Pay
Any ratepayer who chooses to post their payment, should send it to 1 Market Square Burra SA 5417, ensuring that payment is posted well before the due date to allow for any possible delays in the postal process.
Payments can also be made at any rural branch of Bank SA, or using 'B Pay' (telephone banking) through any participating bank.
