Community, Sporting and Service Groups

Locally based organisations are the lifeblood of a community and perhaps even more so in a regionally based locality. They provide a focus for so many aspects of community life and, as voluntary organisations, give as much as they gain in enriching the fabric of our society.

Within the bounds of the Goyder Council are numerous such organisations - civic, service, business, cultural, religious, sport and leisure.

Town Management Committees have been established in centres across the Goyder region. They work to represent the interests of their communities and act as a direct link between these communities and Council.

Any group wishing to be added to the list, or requiring current details to be changed, can do so by completing the online Registration Form or by contacting the Council office on 8892 0100 or by email council@goyder.sa.gov.au
