
RatesCouncil adopted its rates at its meeting on 26th June 2012. Natural Resources Managment Levy A new levy was introduced in 2006/07 to recover the cost of the contributions that Council will need to make to the SA Murray Darling Basin and Northern and Yorke Natural Resource Management Boards. This levy was introduced under the Natural Resources Management Act 2004. Payment of RatesOnlineThrough Bizgate, Council is now able to accept Online rate payments using a secure Internet site. Payment can be made using Visa Card, Master Card or Bankcard. When making a payment, please have your BPay Reference number ready. This is shown on your rate notice. Your completed transaction will be confirmed by an online Tax Invoice which you may wish to print off for your records.
Mail or "B Pay"Any ratepayer who chooses to post their payment, should send it to 1 Market Square Burra SA 5417, ensuring that payment is posted well before the due date to allow for any possible delays in the postal process. Payments can also be made at any rural branch of Bank SA, or using "B Pay" (telephone banking) through any participating bank.
